TOP TEN TEAMS

TOP 10 TEAMS POST POCANO

  1.  JOE GIBBS RACING (LW #1)
  2. TEAM PENSKE (LW #2)
  3. HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS (LW #3)
  4. STEWART HAAS RACING (LW #4)
  5. CHIP GANASSI RACING (LW #5)
  6. ROUSH FENWAY RACING (LW #7)
  7. WOOD BROTHERS RACING (LW #6)
  8. RICHARD CHILDRESS RACING (LW #8)
  9. JTG DAUGERTY RACING (LW#9)
  10. GERMAIN RACING (LW #10)

Joe Gibbs Racing got their ninth win of the year at Pocano compliments of #18 Kyle Busch, so it is no surprise to see that they stay where they have been all year long at #1. Team Penske has four wins as a team and they are locked in at the #2 spot. Hendrick Motorsports are the last team with a win this season so it is not shocking to see them at #3. Stewart Haas Racing are the highest ranked team with no wins at #4. Also. if the season ended now. all four of their drivers would be in the Playoffs. Chip Ganassi Racing stay at #5, just like SHR if the season ended they would have both drivers in the Playoffs. Roush Fenway Racing move up #6 and have no drivers in the Top 16 in points. They could easily have no drivers in the Playoffs. All teams in the bottom five have no drivers in the Top 16 so if things don’t change we may have just five teams in the Playoffs. Wood Brothers Racing drop a spot to go to #7. Richard Childress Racing, JTG Daugherty Racing and Germain Racing all remain in place this week.     .

These are the Top 10 Teams, Thursday look for our Top 30 drivers for the FireKeepers 400 from Michigan Int. Raceway.
