My #5 driver has never won here, #4 Kevin Harvick. Kevin sits #2 in points and #3 hottest over the last six weeks. He has never finished here in the Top 5 but he five straight Top 10 finishes. Also he has won in the Camping World Truck Series and in the Xfinity Series here in the Commonwealth.

My #4 driver has not only never won here, he has never finished Top 5, #20 Erik Jones. Erik is #6 hottest over the last six weeks and more importantly coming off a bif win Saturday night at Daytona. His only start was last year and he finished 6th

My #3 driver to watch has won here before –three times!- #2 Brad Keselowski. Brad won the Cup race here two years ago,  two years before that and two years before that. Brad has also won in the Xfinity Series. Brad comes in here 5th in points and #6 hottest over the last six weeks.  Brad who is known as a high risk high reward driver finished 37 here last year. But he is three time Cup and Xfinity winner.

My #2 driver is very hot right now, #78 Martin Truex Jr. Martin is #1 hottest over the last six weeks. Here he has seven starts and one Top 5 finishes. That was his win here last year, making him the defending champion of this race. Almost more importantly he is #1 ranked on tracks like this.

The #1 driver to watch won here in the Camping World Truck series, the Xfinity series, AND was the first driver to win here in the Monster Energy Cup series, #18 Kyle Busch. Kyle won Kentucky Speedway’s debut Monster Energy race and won again three years ago. In his seven races five have been Top 5’s. The highest percentage of any driver. He has 12 wins in all three series here, will he make it 13? We’ll find out Saturday night.

Monday look for our preview of the Foxwoods 301 from New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
