KC Masterpiece 400 from KANSAS

My #5 driver only has five starts here, #12 Ryan Blaney. Ryan has just the five starts but three were Top 5 finishes, 60%, very good. All of his five races were Top 15 finishes. Look for yet another great finish from Team Penske’s youngest driver.

The #4 driver to watch is has had some very tough races here over the years and his stats show it, #41 Kurt Busch. Kurt hits the wheat state with 24 starts, no wins and just three Top five’s. But it is important to note that two of his Top 5’s came in the last four races. Kurt finished second to Martin Truex in the Playoff race here last year.

My #3 driver considers this race his “home”, #78 Martin Truex Jr. Martin’s shop is located about eight hours west of the track but it is the closest track to the shop, which is based in Denver. Martin has six Top 5’s in his 19 starts and two wins. He swept this track last year in an amazing fashion. He rolls in here #9 in points and 17th hottest over the last six races. He has been doing well but he isn’t over performing in the first ten races like he did last year, so look for a strong Top five finish.

My #2 driver is developing strong stats here, #4 Kevin Harvick. But Kevin is a two time former-winner here, he won the autumn race in 2013 and in 2016. Kevin has 24 starts, two win’s and just seven Top 5’s. Six of his Top 5’s and both wins came in the last nine races helping him to the #1 highest average finish here.

My #1 driver is the hottest driver over the last six races, #18 Kyle Busch. Kyle has 20 starts, one win and five Top 5’s. All of his Top 5’s came in his last six starts including his win in this race in 2016.  Kyle is still #1 in points and #1 hottest over the last six races.
