TOP FIVE DRIVERS TO WATCH

LAS VEGAS: KOBALT TOOLS 400

The #5 driver is a former winner of this race and the most recent winner this season, #4 Kevin Harvick. Kevin won here in 2015 and in Atlanta last week. Kevin is #4 in points, #2 hottest over the last six races AND #2 ranked for me on tracks like this.

The #4 driver is off to a good start this year, #11 Denny Hamlin. Denny sits #3 in points and is the #4 hottest driver over the last six races. He has 11 starts here, no wins and just two Top 5’s. In just two races so far this year Denny has been leading the way at Joe Gibbs Racing.

My #3 driver is the defending champion of this race, #78 Martin Truex Jr. Martin has 11 starts here, that win and just one other Top 5. But he is #1 ranked for me on tracks like this and #1 hottest over the last six races he has been in.

My #2 pick is one of only two, two time winners here, #2 Brad Keselowski. Brad won here in 2014 and again in 2016. He has nine starts, the two wins and four Top 5’s. Two wins in just nine starts is very strong. He has finished 7th or better in his last five starts here. Brad is my #3 ranked driver on tracks like this and sits sixth hottest over the last six races.

My #1 driver to watch is due for a win here, #22 Joey Logano. Joey has three Top 5’s in his nine starts. He is just getting better here, his three Top 5’s came in his last four starts. He is #5 hottest over the last six races and ranked #4 for me on tracks like this.

Monday look for our preview of the Camping World 500 from Phoenix.
